11th Circuit Board election
Go to https://www.esc-vote.com/flabar and vote in the 11th Circuit, Seat 4, Board of Governors election. See the Aug. 15 Florida Bar News for the article 11th Circuit Board Candidates' Platform Statements. Ballots with instructions for electronic voting, along with passwords, will be mailed to 11th circuit Bar members on Aug. 14. Ballots must be returned to the Bar's election company no later than midnight September 3.

Intake form available to help home owners
An on-line intake form is now available for Floridians hoping to avoid foreclosure. Filling out the form on-line will allow those seeking help from the Florida Attorneys Saving Homes program to bypass the toll-free hot line. The hot line will still be staffed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (866-607-2187) but those using the on-line form will be able to submit it directly for processing.

Court Strategic Planning Survey
The Florida Supreme Court wants to hear from a variety of individuals, including attorneys and litigants, to update the long-range strategic plan for Florida’s State Courts System. To increase participation, the Task Force on Judicial Branch Planning has extended the survey deadline through Aug. 31.
